COVID Policies

With the intention to protect everyone’s health, we kindly ask you to adopt some of our new guidelines for your next scheduled service.

If you have been traveling, have been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID 19, have a fever, cough, or feel ill, we ask that you reschedule your service.

  • There will be an estimated 10-minute period of time between all appointments to allow our employees to properly sanitize, disinfect, and set up for their next appointment. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

  • Guests will be expected to wash their hands or use sanitizer upon entering our beauty boutique. Employees will be washing their hands between guests and every 30 minutes.

  • All appointments will be able to be booked through our online booking system. Click our ‘Schedule an Appointment’ menu option at the top of the Haus of Beauty website to link to our services and availability. Thank for your continued support and understanding.

Haus of Beauty Policies

Scheduling

Services are scheduled by appointment only. To accommodate today’s busy lifestyle we do often have same-day appointments available. However, to ensure that we are able to accommodate your preferred appointment times, we ask that you schedule with as much advance notice as possible. All appointments are reserved with a credit card at the time of scheduling.

Age Requirement

We accept appointments for children under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service and have a parent or guardian signed waiver. Children 16-18 years old are required to have a parent or guardian signed waiver and are not required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service unless requested by the therapist.

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware, as a courtesy to our staff, we do require a 24- hour notice for cancellation of any scheduled appointment. A 25% fee of the scheduled service will be applied to your credit card and will be non-refundable if this notice is not met. A no-show of any scheduled appointment will require a 100% fee of the scheduled service price to be applied to your credit card and will be non-refundable. We will always do our best to reschedule an appointment, however, these are the minimum requirements of notice allowable. Thank you in advance for your understanding of our policy.

Children

Unsupervised Children are not allowed at our establishment. There must be an adult freely available to attend to the children. We kindly ask that you not bring children with you to your appointment at Haus of Beauty.

We do, however, allow children to enjoy specific spa services. If they are under 16, they must be accompanied by an adult. Any children under 18 must also have an adult sign their initial consultation form.

Payment

Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks & credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express). Payments for deposits on events or weddings can be accepted in the form of Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. Cash or Check deposits on weddings must be delivered in hand or by mail to Haus of Beauty by HS-Artistry, 9C South Ave, Derry, NH 03038.

Your First Visit

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This allows you time to fill out our brief health intake form & enjoy our space for the first time without feeling rushed.

Arriving Late

If you are late for your session you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Due to our tightly booked schedule, we are generally unable to extend your session beyond your original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled.

Gift Cards

Gift cards may be purchased for any value amount and are redeemable for facial, makeup, hair styling, and eyelash services only. Haus of Beauty by HS-Artistry is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card use, or damaged cards. Cards may be replaced if a valid card number can be provided. Replacement cards will be the value of the card at the time we receive your report of loss, card damage, theft, or unauthorized use. Promotional Gift Cards must be used in one visit and have no cash value and no transferable value.

Professionals

Haus of Beauty by HS-Artistry is a female-owned and operated business. If you have enjoyed the services of a particular therapist on a prior visit, feel free to request that person—you can request this at the time of booking your appointment. Haus of Beauty reserves the right to schedule multiple weddings or events during the same time or double book services. Haus of Beauty has a full team of hair, makeup, and skin professionals that are ready to celebrate you. If you do not request a particular artist, one equally experienced and talented professional team member will be assigned to your service.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the prices of our services and are always appreciated. All gratuities are at the client’s discretion but are customarily 15-20% of the regular cost of service. (for weddings—this will be based on your total package cost and added to your bridal contract)

Health Considerations

Please inform us at the time of scheduling of any health conditions, allergies, special needs, or concerns you have. Your safety is important to us & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions or allergies.

Sick Policy

In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that if you are sick (which includes a cold, a fever, the flu, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your well-being as well as the health of our employees, therapists, and clients. Receiving a facial when you are sick is not advised. While in the early and acute stages of a cold, the flu, or other illness, a facial can accelerate the onset of the infection and intensify its severity (via additional circulation of blood & lymph). If you get a facial after the infection has peaked, you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again. Please wait until you have been well for at least a week before getting your facial. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please call us as soon as possible and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better.

Double Booking Clause & Force Majeure

Haus of Beauty by HS-Artistry is a collaborative company with six or more professional stylists and artists. The Artists reserve the right to accommodate other potential clients for any date or time that is not conflicting with the Purchaser’s Service Date and Time. The Purchasers Team availability is booked based on the planned start and end of the selected services, and travel time. If Purchaser changes time and/or location which causes conflict with another booking, all monies given are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are considered fully earned. Haus of Beauty by HS-Artistry and its staff’s obligation to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability of the Artist as a result of serious sickness, accidents, acts of nature, government-mandated shutdown (i.e. COVID-19 epidemic of 2020), and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control, the Artist will be responsible for notifying the Purchaser in writing. If possible, the Artist agrees to arrange for an equally qualified Makeup Artist to complete the agreed-upon services for the same agreed-upon terms of payment in accordance with the Services Provision.

Communicate Your Preferences

Be sure to speak up. All aspects of your facial and beauty session can be modified to your preference: pressure (too light or too deep), lighting in the room, style of music, temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.

Cell Phone Usage

In our effort to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere for clients, we ask that all cell phones and pagers be silenced or turned off upon entering our boutique. Cell phone use is not permitted beyond the reception area.

Insurance Billing

We do not offer direct insurance billing but can provide a coded receipt for your session that you may be able to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. A prescription from your doctor or chiropractor is typically required. You must contact your health insurance provider to verify that facial therapy is a covered plan benefit and for instruction on how to submit your claim. You are responsible for payment at the time of service.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds on NONREFUNDABLE deposits/booking fees as they are considered fully earned. We begin turning away potential business for your reserved date upon receiving your financial commitment. Cancellation Fees: Applied to events canceled within 60 days or less. Depending on the date you cancel and how far from your chosen service date will determine how much (if any) money is owed. 60 days out or more (there is no cancellation fee), 30-60 days (25% of your balance owed), 14-30 days (50% of your balance owed), 14 days or less (100% of the balance owed).

Holidays / Major Weekends: Weddings Only

An additional fee is added for those reserving a date that falls on major holidays and/or holiday weekends. $150/per artist (New Year’s Eve and Day, Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas)

Off Hours / Early Morning: Weddings Only

An additional fee is added for those needing a start time for prep before 8 am, $50/per artist
